Jazzy Blues Guitar Lick

You can’t go very far in blues guitar with out being well versed in minor pentatonic scales and expressive bends. But what do you do when you’re ready to mix up your sound a little? In this free lesson by Jody Worrell, you will start learning how to incorporate some jazz elements into your blues guitar soloing. From a theory perspective, we’ll use chord tones from the Bb backing track to break out of the pentatonic box. Jody will also show you how to play with a light touch, make rhythm choices, and use slides to further cement this jazzy tone.
