Crossroads Style Solo

This free guitar lesson by Jody Worrell will teach you a basic solo to play over Crossroads. This tune was originally written and performed as an acoustic Delta Blues song by Robert Johnson. In the 1960’s, Eric Clapton and Cream brought the song to the masses with an amped up electric version. Crossroads Solo 1 keeps things pretty simple. We’ll be playing a single note melody line and save the bends and faster sections for later solos. Jody will teach you how to play the solo in short easy to learn sections. We’ll then practice each phrase and the whole solo along with the jam track. To learn Crossroads Solos 2-6 and access to over 500 exclusive lessons start a free 7 day trial.
