Carlos Santana Lick is a free guitar lesson by Jody Worrell that will teach you how to play a lick using unison bends. The lick has a simple melodic idea that we can make more interesting with this fun technique. Using a bend, we are able to play the same note at two different places on the neck at the same time. The bent note differs just enough from the plainly fretted note to create a beating sound. To take it a step further, you can add some vibrato to the bend.
