Slow Blues Turnaround by Jody Worrell is a free blues guitar lesson that will teach you a turnaround lick for a slow blues progression. This lick is in the key of D and features chordal tones that fall outside of the pentatonic scale. Over the first two bars (A7 and D7) we’ll use a moveable lick. Then over the finish (D7-G7-D7-A7), you’ll learn an undulating pattern with a classic feel.
